Job Summary of Front End Shift Lead:
As a Front End Shift Lead, you will support upper management by efficiently leading teams and overseeing successful shifts. You are expected to take ownership of operations, resolve challenges proactively, and offer guidance and support to team members. Strong leadership, organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage time and make effective decisions are essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities of Front End Shift Lead:
- Approach others with a smile and polite behavior, creating a hospitable and inviting atmosphere for both guests and team members. Exhibit a positive and enthusiastic demeanor when engaging with colleagues and visitors.
- Ensure all guests receive top-tier service and delectable food promptly.
- Functions well within a team structure, collaborating effectively with both management and peers. Approaches teamwork with a cooperative attitude, promoting synergy within the team. Extends help to team members as necessary, emphasizing a collective work approach.
- Takes action without being told, willing to go above and beyond what is simply required. Role Model that customer needs are the highest priority. Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations.
- Ensure that team members maintain a neat and clean appearance in line with the company uniform standards. Confirm that all tasks given to team members are completed accurately and on time. Lead the team as the Manager in Charge to ensure that company guidelines for service, food safety, and operational procedures are consistently upheld.
- Consistently delivers constructive feedback and supportive comments to the team. Engages in training and mentoring Team Members actively.
- Ensure adherence to cash control protocols, oversee inventory management, and optimize staff allocation under the guidance of the RGM.
Qualifications of Front End Shift Lead:
- Must be 18 years or older. Experience: One-year Restaurant experience required with proven lead experience on all shifts.
- Must maintain current Health Card according to state or local requirements. Education: Basic math & reading skills.
- Must have the ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
- Must have reliable transportation. Must pass Criminal Background Check.
- Must be able to pass ServSafe Certification Course and Exam.
